This aftermarket replacement Caterpillar (Cat) 1571027 Heel Shroud is a curved, weld-on bucket corner guard designed to protect the lower outside corners of heavy-duty excavator and loader buckets. The heel shroud wraps around the bucket heel to absorb abrasion and impact, extending bucket service life in rock, hard-pack, and high-wear digging applications. Made from high-strength alloy steel, this ground engagement tool (GET) wear part is reinforced on the inside corner to prevent interference with the bucket structure and weld joints.
