This heavy-duty penetration bucket tip replaces Caterpillar OEM part number 135-9400 and is designed for use in the Cat J400 ground engaging tool (G.E.T.) system. The J400 heavy penetration profile delivers superior digging force in hard-packed, abrasive, and rocky materials where standard tips wear prematurely. It mounts to a J400-series adapter using a 7T3408 pin and an 8E8409 sleeved retainer (sold separately) and is suited for use on excavators, wheel loaders, and backhoe loaders equipped with J400-series bucket adapters.
