One New Aftermarket Replacement 12V Electronic Ignition Conversion Kit Fits Ford New Holland N-Series Tractors
This 12-volt negative ground electronic ignition conversion kit replaces the original breaker points and condenser in the front mount distributor of Fits Ford N-series tractors with a maintenance-free solid-state electronic ignition system. The kit fits entirely inside the existing distributor and includes an electronic ignition module, 40,000-volt remote coil, coil bracket, coil wire, and distributor cap -- no additional ignition box required. A Hall Effect integrated circuit triggered by rotating cobalt magnets delivers precise, reliable spark timing with no moving parts to wear out. The epoxy-molded module is impervious to dirt, oil, grease, and moisture.
IMPORTANT: This kit is for 12-volt negative ground electrical systems with a FRONT MOUNT distributor only. The Fits Ford 8N tractor used two different distributor configurations depending on serial number -- verify your 8N has a front mount distributor before ordering.
