This aftermarket replacement turbocharger backplate (Plate As-Backing) fits a wide range of Caterpillar (Cat) large diesel and gas engines, generator sets, and heavy equipment. The backplate mounts to the rear of the turbocharger cartridge assembly, sealing the bearing housing and maintaining proper oil retention and structural integrity within the turbo unit. Also known as a backing plate or back plate, this part is a direct-fit replacement for the original Caterpillar component.
