This aftermarket replacement turbocharger cartridge -- also known as a CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) -- is the core rotating section of the turbocharger, containing the turbine shaft, compressor wheel, bearings, and seals. It fits Caterpillar equipment powered by the 3116 and 3126 diesel engines. Replacing the cartridge restores turbocharger performance without requiring full turbo replacement, provided the compressor and turbine housings are undamaged.
