This metric PTFE back-up ring is a hydraulic sealing component used in Komatsu hydraulic systems. Back-up rings are installed alongside O-rings to prevent seal extrusion under high-pressure conditions, extending the service life of hydraulic cylinders, valves, and actuators. This ring is a scarf-cut (split) design, allowing installation without full disassembly of the hydraulic assembly.
